Motivation

Tourist motivations can define by the factor in which influence a tourist to do travel activity. Crompton (1979) explains that the motivation is only one of many major factors which assist with explaining tourist behaviour  although it is considered a critical factor as it is the "impelling& compelling force behind all behaviour. The International Union of Offical Travel Organization (IUOTO) proposed a definition of the tourist, the definition was approved in 1968 by the World Tourist Organization (WTO), stating the international tourists were "Temporary visitors saying at least 24 hours in the country in the country visited and the purpose of the whole journey can be classified under the following headings: leisure (recreation, holiday, health, study, religion and sport); business (family mission, meeting) (1963).

Tourism motivations are related with the 'push and pull' two factors with the travel and destination. The traditional models have defined push motivates as desire to go on vacation in comparison to the pull motives explaining by the choice of destination. For example, a beautiful tourism attraction could become a motivate factor to pull people to visit. When the people has enjoyed the attraction and back to introduce what he or she visited to other person, its call push factor when second person will motivate with sweet words.
